My Story

Born from a journey. Designed to make women feel beautiful again.

At 39, with two young children, I heard the words that would change my life:

“You have breast cancer.”

What followed was a journey I never imagined I would take,  a mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and two breast reconstructions. My body changed. My confidence changed. And, for a while, I felt as though a part of the woman I had been had been lost along the way.

But somewhere within that journey, I discovered something important.

I was still me.

I still wanted to feel feminine. I still wanted to enjoy holidays, sunshine, the beach and swimming. I still wanted to put on something beautiful and feel confident when I looked in the mirror.

But finding swimwear that made me feel that way was incredibly difficult.

Everything seemed to focus on what I had lost, rather than the woman I still was.

So I decided to change that.

Lady Survivors Swimwear

Lady Survivors was created from my own experience, with one simple belief:

Breast cancer should never take away a woman's right to feel beautiful, feminine and confident.

I wanted to create swimwear that celebrates women after breast cancer , beautifully designed pieces that combine elegance, comfort and thoughtful support, without looking or feeling like medical swimwear.

Because you shouldn't have to choose between feeling secure and feeling stylish.

You deserve both.

My designs are created for women who have experienced mastectomy and breast reconstruction, with details carefully considered to help you feel comfortable and confident in and around the water.

But above all, they are designed to make you feel like you.

You are more than your scars.

Your journey may have changed your body, but it does not define your femininity.

Whether you are standing beside the pool, walking along the beach, swimming in the sea or simply enjoying a holiday with the people you love, I want you to feel proud of the woman looking back at you in the mirror.
